Arena Tech is a game where strategy, chance, and competition converge.
Read the rules carefully.
Section 1: Crafting Battle Cards
- 1) On the Card-Crafting page, you can initiate a battle between your favorite Friend.tech Champions. Simply choose a Champion you support, select an opposing warrior, and let the battle unfold in the Arena.
- 2) The creator of each battle card earns 40% of the fees collected from bets placed on that card.
- 3) The warriors receive 10% of the fees collected from bets placed on their battle.
- 4) Warriors chosen for combat must have a key supply of at least 1 key.
- 5) Every player has a cooldown of 2 hours (3600 blocks) between crafting cards.
- 6) When crafting, you decide the betting period and the battle period. • The betting period can range from 1 hour to 36 hours. • The battle period can range from 10 minutes to 12 hours.
- 7) Each card has a maximum bet amount of 15 ether.
- 8) To craft a battle card, you’ll need a minimum of 0.008 ether. 0.00032 (4%) is charged upon crafting. GM Key holders are charged 2%.
Section 2: Betting
- 1) A fixed fee of 4% is charged. The distribution of this fee is:
• 40% is paid to the creator of the card.
• 25% is paid to the Jackpot pool.
• 25% is paid to the Game Master.
• 10% is paid to the Warriors. - 2) Bettors can bet from 0.01 eth up to 2 eth per transaction.
- 3) Betting is only possible during the betting period.
- 4) When a warrior reaches certain pooled amount thresholds, it receives a Power Boost in its Key Power for that battle.
- 5) Every bet delays the end of the betting period by 5 minutes (150 blocks).
- 6) The winner of the battle can be determined after the battle period is over.
Section 3: Setting Winners
- 1) Anyone can click on a battle’s “Set Winner” to determine the winner of a battle after the end of the battle period.
- 2) It’s impossible for a battle to result in a draw. The winner can only be determined when the warriors have a different Key Power.
- 3) The winner is the one with the highest Key Power. The Key Power is calculated by this formula:
(sharesSupply(warrior) * PercentMultiplier) + CumulativePower(warrior)
— sharesSupply(warrior) = Number of keys from a warrior (Friend.tech contract).
— PercentMultiplier:
• 100 if the amount pooled on the warrior is less than 0.1 ETH
• 110 if the amount pooled on the warrior is between 0.1 and 1 ETH
• 120 if the amount pooled on the warrior is between 1 and 2 ETH
•130 if the amount pooled on the warrior is 2 ETH or more
— CumulativePower = The strength your champion has gained permanently during the game.
- 4) The winner of a battle receives +75 Cumulative Key Power if more than 0.01 ETH is pooled on the losing side.
Section 4: Claim
- 1) You win when you supply for a winner’s pool.
- 2) Claiming is available after the battle’s winner is set.
- 3) You receive a proportional size of the pot based on how much you’ve contributed to the winner’s side. e.g:
• If you pooled 10% of the total amount pooled in a Champion’s side, you receive 10% of the total pot in the case your Champion has a higher Key Power.
• If you pooled 100% of the total amount pooled in a Champion’s side, you receive 100% of the total pot in the case your Champion has a higher Key Power.
Section 5: Warrior’s Spoils
- 1) Every bet made in a crafted battle card redirects 10% of the fees to the warriors fighting the battle.
- 2) These fees can be collected by any account. If the warrior has spoils to receive, they will be sent to his FriendTech account. You could also wait and claim everything when the game is over.
Section 6: Leaderboard
- 1) On the Leaderboard page, you can see who is occupying the leaderboard.
- 2) If the Key Power of a warrior is high enough to be included in the leaderboard, you can subscribe to it. Successfully completing this operation grants a bonus 500 Cumulative Key Power to this warrior.
- 3) The price of a subscription increases by 0.001 ether every time someone alters the leaderboard.
- 4) The occupants of the leaderboard are eligible to receive a share of the jackpot. This share ranges from 1.25% to 5%, in the two different jackpot distributions.
Section 7: Jackpot
- 1) The jackpot consists of 25% of the fees generated from bets on existing battle cards. Certain battle outcomes, such as a battle where no one bet on the winning side, also contribute to the jackpot. For a complete list of contributions, check the contract.
- 2) The jackpot can be claimed in two distinct ways:
• Wagering a cumulative total of 500 ether grants the privilege to claim the wager_jackpot. This method of claiming is available only ONCE during the contract’s lifetime and distributes 58.75% of the jackpot prize.
• Owning 20 Golden Cards grants the privilege to claim the final jackpot. Users with 20 or more Golden Cards can claim this jackpot, which distributes 100% of the full prize and ends the Game’s Season!
Section 8: Golden Card
- 1) Creators can upgrade their successful cards to Golden Cards.
- 2) A card is deemed successful when the total amount pooled for that card exceeds 12 ether.
- 3) Creators can burn one of their own Golden Cards to destroy 3 Golden Cards belonging to a chosen target.
• This operation also increases the cumulative power of one chosen warrior by 1000. - 4) Golden Cards are used to claim the Jackpot.
• When the jackpot is claimed, the Season of ArenaTech is over. We will start planning the next season, which will be a new game, a new smart contract, with new rules and challenges. - 5) Upgrading a Golden Card updates the Player Cooldown.
• Wait 10 minutes (300 blocks) to upgrade or craft new cards.
